A new market:
In terms of numbers of winter sports holidays taken each year, the Netherlands and Flanders (Dutch-speaking Belgium) represent a combined market as big as that of the UK. While chalet holidays are a well-established feature of the UK market, the concept is just being discovered in Holland and Belgium and is gaining popularity with the skiing public as the perfect way to spend their winter sports holiday.

Higher visibility:
Our use of specific keywords makes sneeuwchalets.com highly visible to those searching the web in Dutch. We will also be promoting the site through google Adwords, link partnerships with other relevant sites and undertaking a strong press campaign in the Dutch language media.

Less competition:
With the exception of one or two large tour operators, there are very few companies offering catered chalet holidays within these countries. I ran my own catered chalet for 5 years which I actively promoted in Belgium and the Netherlands with the result that 50% of my guests were Dutch speaking.
